I am healed by the power of His Word, and I know you are too. In order to be completely free from sickness and disease, we need to receive the healing that Jesus has already paid for. A lot of Christians are sick and tired of being sick. They know that Jesus healed people in the Bible, but they don’t see anything happening today. I have good news for you! You can be healed by the power of His Word just as much as anyone in the Bible was healed! The reason why Christians don’t get healed is that deep in their heart they’re not fully convinced that healing is God’s Will for them.
What does it mean to be healed by the power of his word
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague
Mark 5:34
Remember the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5? She had been to every doctor, spent all her money, and still was sick after all those years. But one day, she heard the word that Jesus heals. What happened next? Faith entered her heart as she kept repeating to herself that if only she could touch the garment of Jesus, she would be healed.
Later when she finally had the opportunity, she confidently pushed her way through a crowd to Jesus. As soon as she touched Him, she felt the power of God heal her instantly. Jesus felt healing power leave Him too, and immediately stopped and kept insisting “Who touched me?”. There was a huge crowd around trying to get to Jesus, and finally, the woman stepped forward and told Him her story. And what did Jesus say? “Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”
Why did she get healed? Did Jesus seek her out, or did she seek out Jesus? She knew with all her heart that if only she could touch Him, she would be healed. And it happened! Her faith connected her with the power of God, and she received her total healing.
Being healed by the power of His Word means that you’ve received the Word of God in your heart that says “By His stripes, you WERE healed”. You know it’s God’s Will and you’ve become impregnated with unshakable confidence that healing is yours. When you’re in that position, it’s only a matter of time before healing manifests.
When Jesus died on the cross, all the sickness and disease of the world were transferred to Him. His blood that was shed paid for our healing in full. By faith, we must believe that this is the truth and receive healing into our bodies right now! (1 Peter 2:24).
A believer has trouble receiving their healing when they let thoughts, feelings, and situations talk them out of it. Faith in God isn’t shaken by what it sees or hears. It’s not passive or ignorant but rather focuses on the truth of God’s Word above all. It sets its focus on the integrity of the Father and the fact that He never lies, and cannot break His covenant promises to you!
God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God

How can I pray for myself, a loved one, or those who need healing today
Part of Jesus’ command to His followers was to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It’s a command that He expects believers to obey. Your faith in God and His healing power can produce incredible results in the lives of those around you.
When you pray for someone who’s sick, your faith is released and puts a demand on God’s power. It’s the key that unlocks God’s power that heals. As your confidence in God grows, your faith will increase so you can impact more people with His healing power for them to be healed.
The key to receiving for yourself, or ministering healing to others is simply believing and knowing what the Word says. It’s not just understanding it intellectually, but deep down in your heart knowing that it’s the truth. Then act on it! Step out in faith believing God will confirm His Word.
How can I have confidence in God’s power to heal me or others?
Once you know that healing is paid for and is your inheritance from the Lord, not only for you but for everyone, get the Bible out and start reading the scriptures on healing. Meditate on them day and night. Study the miracles of Jesus, and the way He responds to people’s faith. Start putting your mind in agreement with God’s Word until the revelation of His Word becomes so real that there’s no longer a question. You KNOW that your healing is paid for, and belongs to you.
You may have to read and speak out the promises several times a day for some time, but don’t give up. It’s essential that we build faith in God to be healed by His Word.
